As a father of three children, and 9th degree ITF Certified Black Belt I understand firsthand the challenges that come with maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Taekwondo has afforded me the privilege of travelling all over the globe and competing on the world stage.
I have been instructing people of all ages in martial arts and personal training for the last 32 years. I have been instilling a mindset that teaches people to persevere, through discipline and resilience which has resulted in the achievement of success in many aspects of their lives.

I work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, family discord and relationship issues. I have run programs for children with cognitive disabilities and behavioural challenges while assisting parents with caregiver stress and compassion fatigue. I worked in a medical setting which focused on health and wellness overall.
I have worked with individuals to develop better relationships, create more balance in their lives, to become more confident and empowered to reach their full potential. I offer a safe, reflective space for you to share your story and begin to heal. I work from a holistic approach that encourages healing. As your counsellor, my goal is to develop the strengths that you already have rather than highlight your flaws in order to help you find empowerment. This journey through life is not always going to be easy, and setbacks will happen, but together we can tackle whatever obstacles come your way.
My practice as a counsellor is guided by the Medicine Wheel and grounded in a strength-based, anti-oppressive, and holistic approach. I provide a judgement-free space where people can feel comfortable being vulnerable, taking risks, and rewrite their own narrative.
